Re: SAFe Summit Oct. 2-6, San Antonio, Texas
I’m writing to ask for approval to attend the SAFe Summit taking place October 2-6 in San Antonio, Texas. It’s a once-a-year event dedicated to providing knowledge, best practices, and insights around SAFe implementations. Here’s why I think it’s essential that we attend:
The SAFe Summit is a place to gain access to top SAFe experts, including the creator of SAFe, Dean Leffingwell, and the entire team of SAFe Fellows and senior Principal Consultants. They will be presenting a wide range of SAFe-related topics aimed at helping us leverage the best possible business results with SAFe. I’ll be able to ask questions face-to-face, and get answers that are specific to our unique needs and objectives.
Through keynotes and interactive sessions with Scaled Agile thought leaders and enterprise adopters, I’ll gain actionable insight into the latest tools and strategies to maximizing the value of SAFe, and will be able to overcome roadblocks, and unlock business results. What’s more, I will hear about SAFe transformations directly from enterprises, who will share their SAFe journeys, best practices, and pitfalls to avoid.
There will also be dedicated training. Pre-conference training will take place on Oct. 2-3 and post-conference training will take place on Oct. 6, which allows me to attend one of seven trainings. <Insert which training day you would like to attend>
There is no better place for me to connect with the actual community behind SAFe transformations than at the SAFe Summit. I’ll be able to meet other people working on their transformations, identify opportunities for leveraging working relationships, and evaluate service or tooling companies that could support our business.
Lastly, the SAFe Summit is an opportunity for our voice to be heard. Scaled Agile leadership will take what they learn from the open space and input sessions to inform critical decisions they will be making about the future of SAFe and its training offerings. It’s in our best interest to contribute to these important discussions.
