Configuring SAFe to Your Context

SAFe is a Framework that can and should be adapted to your context. Indeed, organizations that have successfully adapted SAFe to their specific needs tend to enjoy the greatest success. The need to configure SAFe may be driven by several factors, including domain-specific changes, the need to fit alongside other processes, and the need to interoperate with other frameworks. However, configuring SAFe also presents a risk if not done correctly.

In this workshop, we will explore how to ‘safely configure SAFe,’ how to measure the changes, and when to decide to pivot and persevere.

You will learn how to:

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to configure SAFe
  • Determine the most appropriate configuration to meet context-specific needs
  • Measure the success of changes and use this data to inform future actions
