Health & Safety Guidelines

Scaled Agile, Inc. prioritizes the safety and well-being of summit attendees, sponsors, staff, and the community around us. We know you base your decision about attending on a variety of personal and business considerations. We will continue to monitor a variety of COVID-19 sources, including the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and U.S. state and local health authorities, for the latest public health updates, including any restrictions on gatherings. Scaled Agile will require SAFe Summit attendees and Scaled Agile staff to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Fully vaccinated means that an individual has received all recommended doses in their primary vaccine series.

All in-person attendees must agree to Scaled Agile’s health and safety guidelines. If you choose to attend in person, you agree to:

  • Provide proof that you have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Follow all safety protocols set by Summit staff, including masking if required
  • Not attend if you feel sick
  • Be respectful of your fellow attendees—everyone’s comfort level with social interactions is different

The details below are just some of the precautions we will implement for the SAFe Summit. We will update this page as medical recommendations and resulting protocols evolve, so you’ll know what to expect when you arrive in Denver for the SAFe Summit.

Before You Leave Home

As a reminder, all SAFe Summit attendees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Only individuals who are fully vaccinated will be able to access the SAFe Summit in person. We recommend that you take a COVID-19 test prior to arriving in Denver. If you are feeling ill, or if you test positive for COVID-19 please do not come to the SAFe Summit.

Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination

All attendees, including speakers and sponsors, must show their government-issued vaccination cards to gain access to the Summit. Scaled Agile will not retain the vaccination information, we will just be verifying it.

Proof of vaccination can be shown in the following forms:

  • Physical paper documentation
  • A photo of your vaccination card on your phone
  • A digital version of your vaccination via a government/state issued app like

Scaled Agile staff will be verifying this documentation on-site, prior to distributing Summit badges. For questions regarding this policy, please reach out to us at

Masking at the Venue During the Event

Currently, there is no mask requirement at the venue. Mask requirements will follow premises, local, state, and/or federal guidelines that are in place at the time of the SAFe Summit.

Test if you are Experiencing COVID-19 Symptoms

If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms prior to attending or during the SAFe Summit, we recommend that you take a test. If you feel ill, please do not attend the SAFe Summit. If you test positive during the Summit, please self-isolate until you test negative.

Scaled Agile plans to hold the SAFe Summit in person but reserves the right to cancel or reschedule this Summit or convert it to a virtual Summit if health and safety restrictions require it.

We will notify registrants and update the website if plans for this Summit change.

Frequently Asked Questions

How will Scaled Agile verify the vaccination status of attendees?

At the SAFe Summit registration desk,  our staff will review your vaccine documentation and confirm that you are fully vaccinated and able to enter the Summit. Scaled Agile will not retain the vaccination information, we will just be verifying it.

What if I am not vaccinated?

If you are not fully vaccinated, you will not be able to attend the Summit in person. Please contact with any questions or concerns regarding the vaccination requirement.

What does “fully vaccinated” mean?

According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), people are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their last vaccine dose. If you received a single-dose vaccine (i.e., Johnson & Johnson), you are fully vaccinated two weeks after your shot. If you received a vaccine that requires two shots (i.e., Pfizer or Moderna), you are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after your second shot. If you don’t meet these requirements, you are not considered fully vaccinated, and you will not be eligible to enter the Summit.

If you are traveling from outside the United States, please review the current CDC guidelines for more information.
