Customer stories
One of the most powerful aspects of the SAFe Summit is hearing directly from organizations who have been there, and done that. Customer Stories capture the successes, the challenges, and the remarkable outcomes of enterprises who have implemented SAFe across 200 employees, 500,000 employees, and everywhere in between. Immerse yourself in these compelling behind-the-scenes narratives of collaboration, hurdles overcome, and triumphant victories. Don’t miss the chance to be inspired!

Realizing Better Business Outcomes through Lean Portfolio Management
Lean Portfolio Management is the key to improving and realizing business outcomes. The guardrails and governance from your Value Management Office (VMO) will have a great impact on this journey. Shifting mindsets, budgeting practices, and how work is funded are some of the biggest hurdles enterprises face. Hear success stories and challenges from organizations who have tackled LPM.
Building the Future by Applying New Ways of Working
“We’re never going back.” This is what organizations say when they adopt a holistic approach to Lean-Agile practices across their enterprises. They accelerate results, increase speed to market, and improve employee engagement. All functions – hardware, software, finance, HR, marketing … every corner of the business – incorporate these practices to positively impact employees, customers, and organizational success.
Measuring and Accelerating Value Delivery through Leadership
Leaders set the tone – through their communications, investments, organizational design, and the way they show up each day. Achieving an accelerated delivery of value requires understanding flow and the properties of flow systems. These stories highlight successes and learnings for improving the delivery of value through thought leadership.
You will also hear how organizations are using SAFe to improve their sustainability efforts, and harness the power of AI.

Workshops and class available:
Achieving Responsible AI with SAFe (Workshop)
Learn about the challenges and risks confronting enterprises as they incorporate AI both internally and in their customer-facing products. This workshop explores ‘responsible AI’ practices that early adopters implement to mitigate risks. We’ll detail how SAFe accelerates the implementation of responsible AI, unlocking the value of this technological revolution. The workshop is structured in three parts:
- Exploring the issues, patterns, and solutions being adopted for Responsible AI
- An expert panel of leaders who lead Responsible AI in their organizations
- Problem-solving workshop - participants bring their real challenges to ideate an action plan using the strategies presented in the first two parts
Organizing SAFe Portfolios and Formulating Strategic Themes (Workshop)
Portfolio design, strategy formulation, and measurement of outcomes are vital elements of connecting strategy to execution in a SAFe Enterprise. In this workshop, you will learn techniques via a facilitated interactive approach that will build the confidence and tools needed to apply these concepts in your own organization.
You will learn how to:
- Evaluate design options for organizing portfolios, recognizing trade offs, and risks
- Formulate a winning portfolio strategy with well-structured strategic themes
- Measure key results to steer strategy execution
Measuring the Business Benefits of a SAFe Transformation (Workshop)
A highly interactive, facilitated workshop to create alignment around the transformation goals of a SAFe enterprise. In this workshop, you will align with your enterprise’s core business drivers, explore measurable transformation outcomes from real SAFe customers, and identify transformation metrics that matter to your business. You will also develop transformation Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) that link your transformation objectives to business outcomes. Critical stakeholders for this workshop include the LACE, PM/VMO, Business Owners, Lean Agile Leaders, SPCs, and other change agents.
You will learn how to:
- Connect transformation objectives with business outcomes
- Create well-written and measurable transformation OKRs
- Define a set of key results to measure the benefits of your SAFe transformation
Value Stream and ART Identification for Really Big Systems (Workshop)
Effective value stream identification and ART design are critical to accelerating value delivery. While SAFe provides guidance for this process, additional considerations are often needed when building systems that require organizing 1000s of practitioners. In this scenario, it can help to consider factors such as large-scale architectural initiatives and supporting significant business initiatives. In this workshop, we will review additional inputs to SAFe’s ‘Value Stream and ART Identification Workshop’ (VSAIW) specifically designed for application when building really big systems, including additional modules you may use and new approaches to prepare, execute, and follow-up properly when organizing at large scale.
Prerequisites: Participants should be familiar with the existing ‘Value Stream and ART Identification Workshop’ and/or the steps in SAFe’s Organizing Around Value process described as part of the Implementation Roadmap, as this will be used as the starting point for this workshop.
You will learn how to:
- Prepare for, and facilitate the VSAIW in a Large Solution context
- Integrate architecture and business concerns to ensure optimal outcomes
- Implement additional modules when organizing at scale in your context
SAFe for Government: Roles & Responsibilities (Class)
Agile work in government can be challenging due to bureaucratic processes and rigid procurement regulations, which often hinder the flexibility required for Agile project management. There is a critical need to bridge the gap between traditional methods and roles, with their Agile counterparts in SAFe. This clarity in roles and responsibilities will result in a smoother procurement process, better alignment among teams, more fruitful public-private partnerships, and well-defined goals. This class helps government and contractor employees and leaders understand a new way of working.
You will first complete a self-paced e-learning that clarifies SAFe roles in teams, Agile Release Trains (ARTs), and organizational leadership. You’ll then be guided through facilitated hands-on exercises to help translate the roles and practices of SAFe to your unique context and mission.
Participants who complete this class will receive a digital badge.
